Nikhil Wagle
Editor, IBN-Lokmat

Nikhil Wagle, born on 23rd April 1959, is reputed journalist with over 30 years experience.
He started his media journey in 1977 as a cub reporter and In 1979 he was appointed editor of DINANK, a marathi newsweekly, making him, the youngest editor in Maharashtra
In 1982, he started his own publishing house and met with great success in this endeavor with his magazines winning many literary awards. In 1990 he began to edit MAHANAGAR, which is considered to be one of the most credible fearless and daily in Maharashtra. He also brought out more than 80 books in the capacity of a publisher
Nikhil started television journalism in 1989. After doing shows for DD, he turned a socio-political commentator for various private channels. He was also the anchor of the popular talk show AMNE SAMNE which completed 150 episodes.
He is spearheading the IBN-Lokmat ediotrial team that has redefined the Marathi News space
Nikhil is the recipient of the prestigious SANSKRITI AWARD
