This award is not for me but is a recognition for a poverty stricken and backward state like Bihar

I am too thrilled to carry forward the legacy of this very prestigious award that a non cricketer continuous to win it... I thank CNN-IBN, the jury, all the people who voted for me. I accept this award as recognition to all the Olympic athletes from India who toil so hard and work so selflessly towards one goal i.e. to make all of you and the rest of the country proud

I humbly accept this award on behalf of all my colleagues at HDFC bank. I’ll like to thank the jury and all those people who voted for me. Most of all I’ll like to thank my wife and God for his blessings.

I use to think that every art is in a way equal. Like when you are on stage, there is a different respect given for actor or an actress, there is a different respect given for a director, there is a different respect given for a music composer and there are all different stages but here, I think, this has broken all the records and kept music as an art in the first level which is great.

I am very happy and I would like to thank CNN-IBN and the jury for selecting me and for giving me this honour. All the work that I have done there is a lot of contribution from my co-stars, from technicians, people I work with, my partners, and really what ever I have achieved is a result of immense contribution from all of them in my work and I’ll like to thank them all for that.

I am happy that team Chandrayaan has received acknowledgement and accolades from people and organizations across the country for their hard work and achievement
